Great news! We’ve added 2 more Utah locations accepting donations for the Utah Food Bank Drive! We now have a Provo drop-off location and also The Red Barn In Santaquin is accepting Utah Food Bank donations.
The Red Barn is holding their biggest event of the year: “The Cherry Pit Spit” tomorrow, Sat. August 6th from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. with games, face painting, and balloons for the kids. Head on over to this FREE and fun event and drop off your Utah Food Bank donations there! A big thanks to Chelsea for hosting this Utah Food Bank drop-off location!
Use these locations in case you are not going to be able to bring your donations in person on Monday morning, August 8th. Every 10 cans or boxes donated gets you an extra entry in the 4-pack of Barnum & Bailey Circus Tickets giveaway!
If you live in the Provo or Santaquin area and are able to give these grocery donations a ride to Salt Lake City on Monday morning, please let me know. It takes a big team of volunteers like you to make this event happen. The great thing about this event is that not only do we get something fun, like Free Circus Tickets, but we get to help the community at the same time. You may have heard how the Utah Food Bank needs donations right now. I’m so glad we have been asked to do just a little bit to help boost their food supply.
Our family has had a great time working on this Food Bank Drive together. I sent my kids on their bikes to drop off bags like this one around the neighborhood. They are writing their email addresses on the forms to get entries in the Circus Tickets giveaway, also!
So whether you are joining me downtown for the event on Monday morning, hosting a donation site or dropping off your donations- THANK YOU! Every little bit matters and will go to someone that is in need.
